I love to create. Metal and Paint are my current passions, all crafted in my Studio. I use new and recycled materials depending on the design. In my Metal Art, I saw, sand, forge, fold, raise, sink, and/or use chasing & repoussé for variations to each piece. I love nautical imagery in my designs. I enjoy simple lines and the way light may reflect on a subtle curve. Since quarantine with the Covid-19 Pandemic, I have been painting abstract reflections of light on water and other abstract nature. What is it about water that makes us gaze and reflect on ourselves? When I paint I spend days, sometimes weeks applying layer after layer of paint to achieve a certain emotion and color scheme of a reflection in my mind.
